About Our Client
I'm partnered with the CFO at a growing, multi-million dollar, global manufacturing leader of products in their niche. Located near Glenview, they are looking to add a Controller to help build out their team! Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will have full ownership of the accounting function, while leading a team of 2+ individuals.

• Design and implement scorecards and methods of tracking key drivers of financial performance
• Reviews, analyzes, and reports actual profit margins.
• Develops systems and procedures for accumulation systems and/or cost accounting functions.
• Reviews and analyzes actual costs to identify variances
• Oversee the Accounting team in completion of month-end and year-end closings
• Predicts, plans, and records variable costs such as purchases of raw material, labor, and operation costs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Regularly present financial reports and analysis, including proforma financial results, capital budgeting updates, production cost and contribution level analysis to the CFO and President

The Successful Applicant

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Manufacturing experience a must
• Controllership experience
• Cost experience a must
• Management experience
