About Our Client
Our client is a well-established industry leader in the plastics manufacturing sector. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly competent Controller to join their team and play a pivotal role in their financial management.
As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company. You will collaborate closely with the executive team, providing strategic financial guidance and ensuring the company's financial health. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Conduct financial analysis, identify areas of improvement, and make strategic recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting standards.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and cost optimization.
• Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong cost and manufacturing experience
• CPA or MBA a plus
• Experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar environment is highly desirable
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Proven experience as a Controller
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional leadership abilities and a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
