In GfK North America Marketing, we focus on building awareness, lead and demand generation, and nurturing the leads down through the marketing funnel. We work closely with our business partners in the region to develop and implement marketing campaigns that will help drive revenue targets. As part of a global marketing organization, the team also collaborates with the global product marketing team, the marketing centers of excellence (content, brand, events and digital), and the other regions to create best in class marketing programs.


The role of the Content Marketing Manager North America is to spearhead the development and implementation of our content strategy. Working in close collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, the person in this role is responsible for ensuring that content is created and represented in the most effective way, placing clients’ and prospects’ needs at the center of everything we do. Copywriting and storytelling are key pillars of this role.


You will...


  • Build, manage and continuously improve the North America editorial calendar to support a consistent quality presence for the region across all relevant channels.
  • Develop and maintain GfK North America’s multi-channel strategy and roadmap, based on qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify the business needs and critical gaps across our user journey.
  • Write regional internal stories for gNet, the company intranet.
  • Support external communications, as needed, including developing press strategies for regional teams and products, working with key journalists and editors, drafting, and issuing press releases and pitches, and creating and placing bylines.
  • Ensure high standards for content quality and adhere to global guidelines for the tone, style, and voice in line with our corporate brand to make sure our content speaks to our relevant persona(s).
  • Work with regional thought leaders to raise their profiles on specific topics and leverage GfK insights in the process.
  • Output will include eBooks, white papers, webinars, presentations, and infographics.
  • Follow global content measurement frameworks and KPIs, monitor measurement and optimize content types/distribution based on performance.
