COMPENSATION: $22 - $26 per/hour

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.


JOB OVERVIEW:


Responsibilities include functioning within the Clinical Diagnostics Department to help support, organize, and prioritize workflow for the reporting team. Provide accurate technical and clinical information, test updates, and answers to questions regarding Ambry testing options, etc. to clients & other internal Ambry groups via phone and emails. Act as a liaison between reporting and all other internal departments. Additional responsibilities as designated by supervisor/manager.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Monitor and track cases through the reporting process
  • Managing and triaging emails, calls and other inquiries to GCs appropriately
  • Act as a liaison between reporting and all other internal departments
  • Provide accurate technical and clinical information, test updates, and answers to questions regarding Ambry testing options, etc. to clients & other internal Ambry groups via phone and emails
  • Communicate relevant results, classification updates, and basic results interpretation to clients, if necessary


EDUCATION:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a science field or equivalent combination of education and experience


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:


  • Technical knowledge of laboratory testing and terminology is desirable
  • Flexibility with regard to job assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to excel within a team environment and lead a group successfully
  • Ability to communicate effectively, attention to detail, ability to cross reference information, ability to prioritize work, telephone skills, computer skills, working knowledge of standard office equipment (computers, printers fax machines, phone systems, office software and internet)
  • Capability to take on additional projects with little to no supervision


EXPERIENCE:


  • Clinical experience and interest in genetics preferred but not required
