Time management skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously, while completing work within allocated time frames.

Relevant knowledge and experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding.

2-4 years of Outpatient audit experience.

CPC, COC, RHIA, or RHIT certification.

Knowledge of the national coding standards, particularly payment rules.

Knowledge of Medicare and commercial claims processing systems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Explaining/teaching, complex ideas to multiple diverse populations and skill levels, including those with limited IT and systems knowledge.

Bachelor’s Degree in health-related study OR 4 years’ experience working in clinical setting, rehab, or healthcare marketing/admissions.

Information technology, troubleshooting experience strongly preferred.

Proactively learning and utilizing new technologies, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to requirements.

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Manage Outlook Calendar for providers within the clinic

Manage O.R. block time with providers Outlook calendar if applicable based on department guidelines.

Perform pre-authorizations and pre-certifications when needed.

Answer telephone and direct to correct person if needed.

Communicate with patients via phone and in person regarding scheduling related matters.

Prepare charts/Obtain records for upcoming clinic

Drives functional excellence in education, implementation and compliance to best practices and shares lessons learned for trial management.

Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to meet timelines.

Drives the implementation, maintenance and resolution of clinical trial qualityrisk management process within the CTT.

Leads development of clinical outsourcing specifications and management of interface with Contract Research Organization.

Uses data and digital systems and solutions to enable clinical trial planning, management and decision making, and proactive risk management.

Proactive operational planning with effective contingencies and embed risk management mindset in CTT.

Minimum of 5 years of experience working on victim service assistance issues in American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities.

Prior research experience with Indigenous communities is preferred.

Experience managing complex tasks with little oversight.

Working knowledge of statistical analyses and software (i.e., SPSS, SAS, and Stata).

Experience with data collection, administering surveys, interviews, focus groups, or structured observations in multiple settings.

Superior technical writing skills including editing ability (writing sample is required with application).

Bachelor’s degree in a science field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical knowledge of laboratory testing and terminology is desirable

Clinical experience and interest in genetics preferred but not required

Monitor and track cases through the reporting process

Act as a liaison between reporting and all other internal departments

Familiarity with using knowledge management tools (Guru, Confluence, etc)
