Compensation
Salary + Commission - Up to 40% travel.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development + Event Manager to drive event revenue for current and upcoming Puttery locations. The ideal candidate should have experience building national relationships with DMO/CVB partners, and DMC’s, along with current working knowledge and experience with national tradeshows is a plus. This is a high-impact role that requires an individual with exceptional outbound sales, marketing, and communication skills. We are looking for a results-driven individual with a passion for Event Sales. We offer a competitive base salary, which includes commission with no cap. Reporting To
Business Development + Events Director
Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.
- Cross-sell all Puttery venues to national organizations/clients
- Attending industry events and conferences to generate leads and build networks.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to close.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service before, during, and after events.
- Work with clients to understand their event needs and provide customized proposals.
- Actively sell large events at all locations (300+)
- Assist the Director to develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed revenue goals for outbound event sales.
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients for the event spaces across the United States.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring profitability for the organization.

Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Tripleseat is preferred.
- Knowledge of the events industry and trends.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- 2+ years of experience in event sales, outbound sales and marketing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Education
- Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter.
- High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.

Acts with integrity, self-motivated, and professional composure. Excellent attention to detail and ability to adapt rapidly to a high degree of change.
Working Conditions
Days and hours of work vary by schedule. Evening and weekend work may be required. Special working conditions include but are not limited to a range of circumstances such as working sitting or standing for periods of time. May need to lift up to 50 pounds.
