Norseman Defense Services currently has an opening for a hybrid JIRA/Confluence Administrator to work within the Washington, DC Baltimore region. The JIRA Administrator will serve as a system developer responsible for managing and integrating ongoing NDS & client projects into JIRA, JIRA Service Desk, and Confluence systems. Ensuring success for NDS capabilities and/or organizations. Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI.

Primary Responsibilities: The JIRA/Confluence Administrator will be responsible for managing and executing all NDS & customer JIRA & Confluence tasks, to include integration of other software tools to ensure successful training, exercises, tests and operations. The candidate will be a subject matter expert in all things Atlassian, including JIRA service desk, project, workflow, plugin, and integration configuration, Confluence administration, user and permissions administration. Help to ensure our global teams are using Atlassian products effectively for a rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Be a subject matter expert in all things Atlassian, including JIRA service desk, project, workflow, plugin, and integration configuration, Confluence administration, user and permissions administration
• Engages with stakeholders to ensure systems are designed, functional and follow all published guidance
• The JIRA Administrator will serve as a system developer responsible for managing and integrating ongoing projects into JIRA, JIRA Service Desk, and Confluence systems
• Identifies strategic implications of operational efforts and recommend courses of action to proactively position Norseman and their clients for success

• Help to ensure our global teams are using Atlassian products effectively for a rapidly growing organization

Qualifications:

• Familiar with developing JIRA workflows, customization, and integrations to support management
• Additional related experience may substitute for a degree.2 + years of experience working with JIRA/Confluence or Atlassian software systems
• Experience working in the "public" community
• Experience supporting secure enterprises.
• TS/SCI cleared with BA/BS degree and 4 – 6 years of relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 4 years of relevant experience
• Familiar with managing JIRA and related product updates and patching; worked with Atlassian support and support organizations of the product plug-ins. Candidates will be required to obtain the Jira Administration for Data Center and Server Certification within 180 days after employment
