Overview/ Purpose:

The Associate Brand Manager is a key contributor, leading and supporting various brand building initiatives to drive brand awareness, household penetration, consumer loyalty, retailer interest and overall company financial objectives. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in an on-trend wellness category with tremendous growth potential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with other projects, as needed.
- Advise and assist on the development and timely execution of Brand Plans/ leading agencies (PR, Digital, Social, Shopper and Consumer Promotions) to develop highly creative and cost-efficient campaigns.
- Identify key business drivers and opportunities based on competitive/category trends, track & report on business results using syndicated data, and provide forecasting support for financial planning.
- Manage Brand Budget and reporting
- Assist in consumer insights development including key business questions and development of research studies in partnership with consumer insights and category insights teams.
- Lead cross functional teams including R&D, Packaging Design, Operations, Finance, Sales, etc. to commercialize new initiatives, starting with the business case rationale through customer selling materials and the consumer launch for both innovation and renovation projects
- Project management lead on key margin enhancement cost savings projects.
- Lead the Integrated Business Planning process with input from Sales, Operations and Finance.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 – 2 years consumer packaged goods marketing experience or other proven relevant experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strong bias for thoughtful action. Acts like an owner and can run independently.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to thrive in a high paced, entrepreneurial work environment and meet business driven deadlines
- Experience with AC Nielsen or IRI preferred
- Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills.
- Experience analyzing data & translating to recommendations
- Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent.
- Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
- Excellent creative instincts and comfort with visual design
- Preferred knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods Industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
