• Location:** Hybrid opportunity-position offers virtual and in-office environment

Responsible for leveraging large, complex and linked data assets to provide analytic and programming capabilities to lead and support diverse scientific portfolios of research.
**How you will make an impact;**

• Leads and supports statistical analysis with application of research methods in emerging real-world data sources and clinical research (e.g., administrative claims, medical records, electronic health records, surveys, point-of-care clinical data, adjudication of value-base contracts for pharmaceuticals).
• Provides analytical support for prospective and retrospective health economic or epidemiologic research and real-world evidence generation activities for Carelon Research clients.
• Articulates methods, process, progress and results to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborates with the Scientific and Project Management teams to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget commitments.
• Supports development of statistical content for study documentation (e.g., protocols, statistical analysis plans), reports, publications and regulatory submissions
• Assists in reviewing and advises on data management activities (e.g., database/cohort identification, analytic file development, case report form (CRF) programming, validation checks, data issues resolutions
• Performs execution of analytic methodology, including writing programming specifications, developing programs to perform statistical analysis, creating Tables, Listings and Figures (TLFs), and performing quality control of programs and ensuring integrity of analysis
• Develops statistical subject matter expertise of the research data and integrated environment
• Formulates ideas for new research studies and projects and contributes analytic insight to the writing of research proposals

Minimum Requirements
Requires a MS degree in Statistics or Biostatistics or a closely allied field with substantial statistical preparation, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities And Experiences

• Knowledge of healthcare claims data.
• Knowledge of analytic methods and using statistical tools (e.g., SAS, R, IHD), strongly preferred.
• Linkage and integration tools and techniques strongly preferred.
• Basic understanding and application of statistical methodologies, including survival analysis, propensity score modeling, causal inference techniques and experimental design

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $73,440 to $132,192.
