Business Analyst
Our client in the Dayton, OH area is searching for a Business Analyst who will be developing solution specifications and detailed requirements for a wide variety of retail focused IT projects . Successful candidates in this role will have 3+ years of experience with SQL Applications, Power BI, and MS Visio tools. Business process management and/or .NET environment experience are a PLUS for this role.
As a Business Analyst you'll be developing solution specifications and detailed requirements for IT projects and M&I requests. You'll facilitate sessions with stakeholders to determine technical requirements. You'll manage and document all business requirements for project work in conjunction with related Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You'll initiate and manage risk assessment process to completion, which includes risk documentation and risk mitigation controls. You'll establish systems specifications and objectives, based on business requirements and cost effectiveness. You'll develop test plans and coordinate software testing with internal partners. You'll develop and maintain process maps for business systems and makes plans to accommodate future work requests. You'll maintain requirement details in appropriate ticketing system (e.g., Jit Bit, Service Now, PPM) as needed. You'll also collaborate closely with IT Architects to design optimal technical solutions to meet business needs while aligning with IT strategies.
The Business Analyst opportunity typically pays between $70,000 to $100,000 annual based on experience.

Desired Experience for the Business Analyst:
- Experience working in an Agile work environment
- 3+ years of experience with SQL in a 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019 environment
- Experience with business process management and/or .NET are a PLUS for this role
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Visio tools
