Job Description

What You Will Do:

Assists with SSFCU's benefit function to ensure conformance with State and Federal regulatory guidelines and company policy in a timely manner. The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for supporting processes related to Benefits and Wellness administration including but not limited to; Health and Welllness program support, Leave of Absence administration, reasonable accomodation requests under the American with Disability Act (ADA), Workers Compensation administration, and assist with retirement, health savings account and financial wellness administration. Provides daily benefits support to HR Management. Assist HR Management with benefit related programs by distributing necessary communications, answering inquiries, and reporting. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.

What We Require:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) year of general administrative experience preferably with exposure to Workers Compensation, ADA accomodation, and general benefits administration. Basic familiarity with MS Office programs, particularly MS Word and Excel. Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings based on business needs.


Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Strong knowledge of State and Federal laws related to benefit programs. Advanced Word and Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, etc). HRIS and vendor systems experience, ADP Vantage preferred. Focus on quality with attention to detail to ensure all work is performed to high standards.
