Come join one of the fastest-growing online retailers in the country! Pink Lily is in search of a qualified Brand Manager to join our emerging Beauty team and help fuel our growth. Pink Lily Beauty is a new product line that launched in March of this year. Through thoughtful and comprehensive new product development specifications, we have created a clean, vegan and organic line of cosmetics to complement our apparel assortment on pinklily.com.
The Role:
- Reports directly to the Founder of Pink Lily with “dotted line” to Director of Brand
- Partners with Director of PL Beauty New Product Development (NPD)
- PL Beauty’s Brand Manager role is to manage the overall brand strategy, marketing approach, revenue objectives and 3–5-year product roadmap to achieve near and long-term goals for Pink Lily Beauty
Position Responsibilities:
Marketing Execution
- Refine and execute on the strategic brand direction (including brand story, key points of differentiation, etc.), sales goals and marketing approach and related tactics
- Analyze campaign results by platform, and review KPI’s to assess performance and generate future improvements
- Leverage knowledge of traditional as well as digital, social and influencer marketing combined with advanced communication skills and analytical abilities to:
- Define benchmarks and implement systems for measuring success.
- Create and execute against marketing channel strategies including individual campaigns, activities to drive brand awareness and product education initiatives both for brand and product launches and ongoing brand/product support
- Generate sales-driving ideas and concepts to support key categories and best sellers
Branding/Creative
- In partnership with the Director of Brand, co-own the brand architecture, quality cues, brand values and key messaging
- Provide all cross functional teams with the key branding elements and brand style guides
- Refine content strategy and manage all brand assets (photography, video, key campaigns, other branded assets, etc.)
Competitive Landscape/Business Analysis
- Conduct ongoing research of business/industry/marketing trends, analyze trend information and and competitors’ brand and marketing strategies to ensure PL Beauty is positioned to win
- Analyze brand performance, thoroughly understand current business challenges and proactively develop actionable plans to drive sales
Budget Management
- Own the PL Beauty operating budget (including revenue and cost objectives by SKU), including brand revenue targets and expense management in partnership with Pink Lily’s VP Finance
- Measure performance against budget
NPD
- Partner with Director of NPD to:
- Identify product gaps and opportunities and product concept development
- Prioritize product roadmap based on complexity, development timeline, sales opportunity and market trends

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
- Google Analytics Experience is a plus
- Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong beauty industry knowledge with 7+ years of Brand Management and Marketing experience, preferably in a Direct-to-Consumer e-commerce business
- Technical systems aptitude to learn select functionality for multiple database tools
