The Brand Manager is responsible for supporting all brand marketing activities to drive growth within the Surgical Division.  This role is globally focused on enhancing patient’s lives and their well-being through differentiated, evidence-based solutions for minimally invasive procedures. As the general manager of the brand, you will be responsible for working with the Senior Marketing Manager of Laparoscopy to support the product management for the Advanced Energy portfolio. The candidate will be a part of a passionate & highly skilled marketing team that works collaboratively with cross-functional teams including sales leaders, research and development and finance etc. Ultimately, as the Brand Manager, the candidate owns and drives the products’ growth expectation.


Do you have the right stuff?


  • Responsible for pricing strategy and discipline. Will manage pricing approval requests and meeting profitability goals.
  • Partner & over-communicate with cross functional teams to ensure clear strategic plans.
  • Communicate opportunities and gaps to peers and to management, offering actionable recommendations.
  • Own and execute training content and delivery for new-hire training classes, held quarterly.
  • As needed, develop educational pieces to train sales force in key clinical, economic, competitive areas.
  • As the general manager of the brand, you will own the entire product life cycle from creation to utilization and work cross-functionally to maximize efficiency.
  • Daily management of field-based inquiries and requests.
  • Manage production of sales and marketing collateral, video, slides and other related materials. Ensure cost and production efficiencies.
  • Drive the development and implementation of creative marketing strategies across core functional areas (sales, physician, clinical, medical education).
  • Accountable for being a customer expert through spending time in the field with end-user customers and sales teams to uncover problems and develop solutions.
  • Analyze daily and provide insights on ongoing brand performance.
  • Drive the execution of strategic objectives and ensure strong professional development.
  • Drive commercial excellence through marketing initiatives around the development, launch and sale of new products both in the US and in international markets, ensuring launch excellence, clear metrics, and high accountability. 
  • Assess market information needs relevant to development or monitoring of strategies and implement market research projects to address such issues.
  • Contribute to the organization and execution of sales meetings including development, planning, budget tracking and implementation of brand strategy and messaging.
  • Ideate, communicate & execute measurable strategies and tactics to drive consistent and profitable growth.


Additional Details


  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of Healthcare Product Management or equivalent work experience required
  • Must be able to travel as required by the needs of the role 50%
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Medicine or related field required. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. (Would consider candidate with strong sales and people leadership background)


The total compensation range for this role is $78,600 to $122,900 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
