Job Description

Our global SaaS Identity Leader has an outstanding foot in the door opportunity for a Senior Brand Operations Manager.


Position Summary:

The Studio team is an in-house agency within Marketing, composed of creatives, strategists, producers and marketing managers alike. Our team’s focus is to lead the brand, tell powerful stories, and inspire creative excellence.


Sitting within The Studio, the Brand Team is in charge of brand strategy, verbal expression (voice & naming), creative strategy, brand management, and brand measurement. We advocate for the power of brand across our company as well as support marketing activities and excellence.


As a partner to cross-functional teams across the organization, we tie our goals to our most important company initiatives, driving towards shared KPIs, strategies, and processes to unify and push the brand and business forward.


Responsibilities:

Following an acquisition, we have recently refreshed its brand with a new purpose, new visual and verbal expression, and new brand architecture. With the recent refresh of our brand, we’re looking for a Brand Manager to join our team and help build and execute brand management programs and processes. In this role, you’ll work with brand strategists, creatives, the broader Studio team, and key Marketing leaders to unlock opportunities for the brand, deliver on strategy, and guide the execution to bring them to life. You will help to establish and manage cross-functional relationships to identify the different assets and activations of the brand across the company, partnering with these teams to ensure that work is on brand and on strategy. You will help lead cross-functional brand projects and help guide how the brand is leveraged for maximum impact, giving you the opportunity to problem solve, and think creatively while also delivering on the output.


What you will do:

You will be the person who manages the brand and acts as the liaison between the Brand Team and the rest of the organization. Your role will primarily focus on three areas: brand management, brand governance, and brand training.

  • Help to determine what to prioritize and what to elevate to different members of the broader team
  • Create processes to ensure marketing work is helping to build a unified, consistent, and cohesive brand
  • You love building programs and striving for excellence in execution
  • Help develop a structure for managing, evolving and distributing key brand assets and ensure that the latest brand assets are available and up to date on Brandfolder and linked in appropriate channels (Slack, intranet, etc.)
  • Brand Training

  • Build and manage the brand training program to deliver on our Excite, Educate, and Empower approach
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing teams (e.g., Product Marketing, Campaigns, Digital, etc) to establish an approach of Brand Team reviews through the creative process
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand brand needs and liaise with the Brand Creative team to inform future brand assets, guidelines, and projects
  • You value relationships and their importance in a brand’s success
  • Offer guidance and direct people to resources they need to understand and adhere to the brand
  • Partner with the Studio and Marketing stakeholders on the development of annual roadmaps for brand management. Work with the Brand Team to help prioritize initiatives and plan for the year.
  • Work with our IP Legal team on brand trademarks and ensure our legal registrations are up to date

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience working with executives and with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to think strategically while delivering against tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • 8+ working as a Brand Manager (or comparable experience) in B2B tech or tech generally
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven experience building and delivering on integrated brand programs and managing brand tools, processes, and assets
