Job Description
Gopuff is seeking a Brand Manager, Sr. for its Private Label Business. This role is an exciting opportunity to help drive explosive growth in the new private label brand portfolio. This role will be responsible for multiple aspects of the management of the existing private label products, such as marketing and promotional strategies and support, on app discoverability to drive awareness and trial, pricing, and more. The opportunity and scope of ownership is broad, with the autonomy to build key support strategies for this business. The Sr. Brand Manager will work cross functionally, spanning teams such as merchandising, supply chain, marketing, loyalty, and product. An opportunity to create and build strong partnerships with vendors is another critical element. The role will report to the GM of Private Label.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver financial results aligned to the private label P&L, with KPI’s for top and bottom line assortment performance
  • Own day to day management of launched private label items inclusive of retail pricing, cost and co-manufacturer partnership - in partnership with brand owners
  • Partner closely with the supply chain team on forecasting initiatives for all support levers.
  • Build and execute against a private label support strategy created jointly with marketing partners that leverages and aligns to broader Gopuff loyalty and FAM initiatives
  • Own and drive promotional readiness, including the creation of an all-in marketing calendar
  • Develop and manage a promotional strategy comprising seasonally relevant moments and broader brand building campaigns, all aligned with the profitability goals for the brands
  • Own the recapping and analytics post campaign, implement test & learn strategies, all shaping the future promotional strategy for the brands.
  • Partner with the product team to drive discoverability on the app experience, inclusive of key placements, search and browse initiatives


Qualifications:


  • Ability to travel 10% - 20% depending on location
  • A detail-oriented, self-starter attitude with the ability to think critically and exercise independent judgment
  • Ability to lead a cross functional team of peers through the building and execution of a promotional strategy
  • Have a broad view and knowledge of the private label industry and understanding of the competitive landscape and role of private label
  • Bachelor’s degree is required (Marketing, Business or Economics is a plus)
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization’s various departments.
  • 6-8 yrs+ experience in retail, category management, CPG brand management is required (e-commerce is highly preferred)
  • Willingness to learn, be a self-starter, with a “get-it-done” attitude
  • Strong analytical skill set with an ability to leverage Excel/Google sheets to build reporting and recaps
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization;


$106,000 - $169,000 a year


Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. For additional information on this role’s compensation package, please reach out to the designated recruiter for this role.


Remote - Salary Range (varies based on a cost of labor index for geographic area within United States): USD $106,600 - USD $169,000
