Banking It Business Analyst (Remote)

ITTConnect is seeking a Sr Technical Business Analyst with experience in the Financial Services / Banking / Payments industry to join our team . Our client is a major IT Consulting firm with HQ in Europe, offices in 15 countries and over 10k employees, they are experts in tailored Applications Services to Banks, Insurance and Industry clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a multi-year green field implementation of a new core banking and payments platform for one of the largest banks in the world. Job is fully remote and will be interacting with a distributed team in the US, Europe and Latin America.

Job Location: Remote. Must be in CST or EST.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work well with different business users and stakeholders groups gathering business requirements and writing functional specification documents
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
• Domain knowledge on Postman
• 10+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
• MUST HAVE experience in Financial Services / Banking
• Domain Experience on Karate Framework; Test Engineering, Kafka, Event Driven and REST APIs
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture
• Domain knowledge on AWS
• Nice to have experience with Gherkin
• Experience documenting technical acceptance criteria for component testing, preferably with Gherkin
• Highly desirable previous experience with core banking platforms
• Seasoned in business analysis for the banking sector with exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• Must have previous technical background, preferably as a Developer
• Experience defining functional architecture, business requirements and functional tests
