Antenna is hiring for an Associate Director of Acquisition Marketing to join an innovative, forward-thinking team and build digital media strategies that lead to high conversion. NOTE: this is a 7-month contract role covering for a maternity leave on the team.
The Associate Director of Acquisition Marketing will be responsible for driving national client healthcare plan new membership growth by leading direct response, paid social, display and video marketing strategies and tactics. This role will be responsible for creating, placing and analyzing campaign performance across a suite of marketing tactics and tools utilizing data from multiple sources to drive business strategy, specifically: improve consumer acquisition, market effectively and efficiently and deliver optimum consumer experience.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a highly matrixed work environment with a high degree of individual responsibility and strong collaboration skills. This person will have an analytical mindset and yet be adept at communicating approach, results, and campaign performance. The Associate Director of Acquisition Marketing will report & work directly with the Director of Acquisition Marketing. This role will work most closely with the telesales team, media team, marketing operations, experience team, analytics team, and finance team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze customer behavior to drive understanding of current and future customer and market needs
- Act as marketing lead and drive strong collaboration with telesales partners to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and conversion rates, aligning with business goals
- Develop and implement marketing campaign tactics (e.g., project plans, budgets, test plans, creative execution)
- Demonstrate understanding of applicable business strategies/goals and how they can address customer requirements and marketing efforts
- Align marketing communications/materials with the needs of the applicable audience (e.g., reading levels, complexity, messaging, cultural alignment)
- Develop/implement long- and short-term direct response and digital marketing strategies/goals in alignment with applicable business goals (e.g., revenue goals, membership goals, conversion metrics) that differentiate us in the marketplace and position us as leaders
- Ensure that the messaging used in marketing communications/materials support/align with marketing strategies (e.g., value proposition)
- Ensure that deliverables from internal and external partners (e.g., ad agencies) are aligned with applicable marketing goals, strategies, and initiatives
- Align marketing initiatives/campaigns with applicable business goals/objectives, as well as the needs of identified target populations/clients
- Drive understanding of Marketing's return on investment and overall business impact among leadership and other applicable stakeholders
- Analyze/report results of direct response and digital marketing campaigns using applicable metrics and develop/manage strategies/plans to optimize future performance
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a large matrixed environment
- Strong communication skills, working across a variety of teams and leaders
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- Very strong attention to detail within context of campaign performance, metrics, and reporting
- Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- 5+ years of direct response marketing experience - direct mail, email and tele sales marketing experience
- 5+ years of campaign management experience, including strong experience with Google Display, YouTube, and social ads experience
- Proven strategic and analytic thinker plus tactical reporting and measurement implementer
- 7 years in B2B and B2C/DTC marketing, media, and communications
- Coalition-builder and interpersonal communicator
