Title: Associate Brand Manager
Reports to: Creative Director and Commercial VP
We are looking for a NYC-based Brand Communications & PR Coordinator to join our company. This position plays an important role on our brand team, providing support to the Creative Director. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, curious, detail-oriented, and possess strong writing and organizational skills. They should also thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a can-do attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand & PR
• Brand liaison to PR Agency - Maintain constant communication with external PR agencies in relation to media outreach for launches, press previews, and all media requests directly involving the Founder of the company and its executives.
• Meet weekly with external PR company.
• Vet and facilitate all press interview requests with the Founder and all members of the executive team.
• Own seasonal PR sample sets and manage both internal and external requests.
• Maintain constant communication with external PR agencies in relation to media outreach for launches, press previews, and all media requests directly involving the Founder of the company and its executives.
• Partner w/ PR to Coordinate speaking engagements involving the Founder, including putting together speaking notes and managing calendar.
• Partner with PR on gifting and trade.
• Collaborate closely with the Digital and Creative teams on seasonal assets / imagery needs for press opportunities.
• Plan and execute all in person brand activations for retail and collaborate with Director of Wholesale for events with brand partners.
Communications
• Write and edit brand communications copy for interviews and digital content such as social media, newsletter emails and blogs.
• Assist in ideation and production of editorial content across blogs, email and social media.
Photoshoots
• Develop annual photoshoot schedule for Ecommerce, Editorial, Supplemental and Social photoshoots in partnership with Commercial VP and Creative Director.
• Adhering and Management of photoshoot budgets.
• Responsible for hiring and managing freelancers (producers, photographers, assistants, etc).
• Lead/Coordinate production of all ecommerce and editorial shoots including supporting, scheduling, sample management, distributing assets, packing and unpacking all inventory and supplies before and after each shoot.
• Lead/Coordinate casting, location scouting and props to pitch ideas to the creative director.
• Point person on styling suggestions and sample outreach for shoots.
Social
• Oversee the execution of the social calendars for all social platforms to ensure that all channels (IG, TikTok, FB, YouTube, etc) drive engagement and traffic to the brand.
• Constantly explore & evaluate new social platforms, tools, and services
