Accounts Receivable Manager Jobs

Are you a highly skilled and experiencedBusiness Office Manager(BOM) looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently seeking aRegional Accounts Receivable Managerto join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable processes and managing the billing operations of multiple skilled nursing facilities (SNF) within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attends A-Z aging review with BOM and Administrator once per quarter

• Attends Triple Check at each facility at least once every 6 months.

• Follows all HIPAA regulations

• Maintains software with facility rate changes, and payer setup. Performs and maintains new and terminated user setup in programs utilized.

• Makes recommendations that are seriously considered regarding the hiring, performance management, and termination

• Must be capable of maintaining a regular attendance

• Reviews 120+ day aging w/each BOM once per month

• Teaches all aspects of billing, claims, banking, accounting, and EHR software

• Teaches authorization process for all payors

• Teaches billing process for all payors

• Teaches collection process for private accounts, including small claims court, collection agencies, and any attorney referrals

• Teaches eligibility for all payor types, such as Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, etc

• Teaches follow-up process for all payors, including claim correction and appeals

• Trains BOM and ABOM the technical knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their role

• Visits each facility on a monthly basis

• Works with BOM on how to lead, supervise, and develop their ABOM

• Works with facility to improve processes that affect the billing such as Triple Check, Admissions, Case Management, etc

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business office manager in a skilled nursing facility (SNF)

• Preferably 3 years of experience as a Regional Accounts Receivable Manager

• Strong knowledge of billing, claims, banking, accounting, and EHR software

• Familiarity with authorization process for all payors

• Proven experience in managing a team and providing effective training

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary:

• Salary ranges from $110,000 to $120,000 depending on experience
