Compensation And Benefits
The salary range for this position is $90k - $120k. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
Sciton Inc. is looking for an energetic Sr. Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our rapidly growing Finance/Accounting team. S/He will be responsible for effective, accurate, and efficient handling of all aspects of accounts receivable.
The ideal candidate will be based in our corporate office in Palo Alto, CA.
In This Role You Will

• Work on special projects when assigned by management
• Assist in maintaining AR Module procedures, develop and refine processes to increase team efficiency.
• Provide supporting analysis and ad-hoc reporting as requested
• Research variances, determines root causes and makes recommendations for adjustments.
• Monitor revenue and reconcile receivables, including CC merchant reconciliations.
• Develop reports and reconciliation process to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports, statements, and documentation.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable Policies and related internal controls
• Maintaining a close working relationship with operations managers, corporate accounting team, and senior leadership.
• Flexibility to execute, adapt, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment at a high growth company
• Sales tax reporting
• Assist with system implementation
• Assist Accounting team with any ad hoc requests or responsibilities.
• Monthly AR account related reconciliations including reconciliation of AR sub-ledger to GL, SFDC to ERP reconciliations etc

Essential Requirements

• Proactive problem-solver
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks/projects
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• 4-7 years’ experience in a related field
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong financial and analytical acumen.
• Experience with Infor Syteline or similar enterprise reporting systems preferred
• Self-starter who continuously strives to get things done and thrives on working through challenges
• Proven aptitude for systems; advanced Excel skills required
• Comfortable with rapid organizational growth
• Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP
