Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant - Immediate Temporary need

$30.00 - $35.50/hour

Opportunity to make a difference in the world as you support nonprofit at the forefront of creating educational equity in our community. You can make an impact as early as this week as you jump in to carry out the day to day AR needs of this bustling accounting department.

100% Flex hours, Remote (Must be CA resident who can commit to one day/week onsite for training)

Reporting to the Controller, you will bring AR processing current while keeping day to day activity afloat.

You will:

• Create invoices, post donations, grant payments, check receipts
• Process electronic batch deposit, handle revenue recognition
• Use Salesforce to look up donors to determine which fund pledged to
• Book schedules for audits and month end close, reconciliation

You have:

• Accounting degree + and/or 3 years’ hands on experience; nonprofit experience +
• Affinity for working for mission driven organization committed to creating equity in the world
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage and process high volumes of data
• Proficiency on Google Suite, ERP experience; Ignite and Salesforce +
• Intermediate skills on Excel – Vlookup, pivot tables
