Account Executive-Freight Broker Jobs

AOM Logisticsis a family owned startup looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our team. We offer a base salary plus commission and NO non competes. The Account Executive will work from home making new sales contact to customers nationwide through cold calling in order to grow their book of business. This role also requires contacting carriers to transport freight for the customers.

This job will NOT provide you customers and requires a book of business (or be able to create one). Prospecting via online sources and getting through gate keepers.

See below for base plus commission pay structure paid twice a month.

Qualifications:

Freight broker experience(1 year required)

:

• At least 1 year experience in freight brokering
• Prospect new clients via online sources and get through gate keepers
• Create business leads
• Shipment tracking and tracing
• Build dedicated lanes with drivers
• Excellent sales, customer service, and cold calling skills
• Negotiate rates
• Onboarding carriers
• Must have a strong book of business or be able to create one
• Manage shipping needs and available capacity

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay Structure:

$40,000/year base pay salary plus 20% commission off profit margins.

Location:

Work from home in the DFW Texas area.AOM will provide company equipment and software.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
