Workplace Design Graphic Designer

What to Expect
The Workplace Designer will help Tesla shape the current and future image of its workspace by placing creatively designed signs, branding elements and wayfinding features in appropriate locations. As part of our Workplace Team, the Workplace Designer will be part of a team that designs, manages all signage and graphics requests made for all Tesla sites globally. What You’ll Do

• Design wayfinding, printed graphics, interior/exterior building signage, event signage, branded apparel, and digital assets for Tesla offices, factories, and manufacturing facilities
• Provides updates on current projects
• Document and create global signage standards for interior offices and exterior sites
• Partner with internal business teams on projects to formulate scope of work
• Design and update custom and standard signage
• Collaborate with Workplace Operations and/or Project Management team to request any prep work to be done for signage install
• Coordinate design, fabrication, and installation with vendor and multiple departments
• Updates Site updates PPT with detailed information and timelines
• Engage internal Design Team for any graphic design work that needs to be executed in-house
• Engage with external vendors on signage projects as needed

What You’ll Bring

• Evidence of exceptional ability
• Advanced skills in current versions of Adobe Creative Suite (MAC), Microsoft Office
• Experience with graphic design, environmental design, interior design, or architecture
• Experience with wayfinding design, workplace design, and building signage
• Team player and able to adapt to change
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Expected Compensation
$15.00 - $50.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
