Make An Impact

VERSES is hiring a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for various purposes – product marketing, . You’ll be responsible for the entire process of defining requirements, and visualizing and creating graphics. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.

This role will report to our Chief Administration Officer.

Essential Functions - A/k/a Your Mission

• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Review final productions for errors and ensure that the work reflects the specifications
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Produce drafts for review and make revisions based on the feedback received
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints

Great to Haves

• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• 5+ years of experience in design
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design or relevant field
• Deadline-oriented
