The position of Graphic Design Coordinator works with the Graphic Design Manager and is primarily responsible for developing and executing design and marketing materials that support the company’s objectives. This is role is key in supporting the look and feel, and also the production of internal and public-facing marketing materials for Acrisure Arena, Berger Foundation Iceplex, and The Coachella Valley Firebirds professional hockey team. An interest in the Live Entertainment & Sports industries are beneficial for this fast-paced environment.


The role consists of approximately 70% graphical design activities to 30% marketing. The candidate for this role must be capable of interacting with all levels of personnel and move interchangeably between a variety of projects and tasks on any given day, delivering all creative projects to deadline and in accordance with pre-determined designs, stye-guides, and quality of brand standards. Self-motivated, self-managed, ability to execute and pivot quickly between projects & deadlines, along with the ability to efficiently multi-task are prerequisites to success.


This role will pay a wage of $23 to $27.

  • Coordinate projects with outside vendors and agencies, including acquiring project estimates and graphic proof/editing, printing and delivery deadlines.
  • Contribute to the execution of social media and digital communication campaigns, using sources such as Facebook (Meta), Twitter (X), Instagram, @Threads, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Digital image editing, and digitally published collateral creation.
  • Assist in design layout, navigation, and uploading of relevant content/graphics for the company websites.
  • Production and design of marketing materials for Acrisure Arena, Berger Foundation Iceplex, and The Coachella Valley Firebirds, including advertising materials both print and digital including sales and marketing media/campaigns, OOH, marquees, newsletters, sales presentations, and other digital collateral & communications. Printed materials such as signage, merchandising displays and promotional items.
  • Participate in the preparation of special events including offsite viewing parties.
  • Design, management & archiving of all company graphic elements and branding concepts.
  • Establish, maintain and organize a marketing database of images, photographs, videos, and collateral, both on local servers and DAM System.


Qualifications


  • Perform error free work, with a process of self-checks and balance for accuracy.
  • 1-3 yrs experience in graphic design or other creative development role. Sports and/or entertainment experience preferred.
  • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and maintain deadlines.
  • Set priorities and accomplish tasks timely and efficiently, to accommodate pressing assignments, events, and activities.
  • Know the differences, and limitations between digital and printed media.
  • Work effectively and professionally with others department to accomplish tasks.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organization skills.


Skills Required


  • Knowledge of WordPress, and other website and marketing software.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and Teams
  • Knowledge and ability to research, and search for Stock Photography, and other creative asset sites such as AdobeStock, Creative Market, and Envato.
  • Ideating and researching creative objectives.
  • Knowledge of camera/video equipment, and production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and Bridge along with Canva or other design-based software.
