Even though this company was started in the midst of the pandemic, we were able to watch it blossom and thrive into the company it is now. Elan owes its success to its ability to understand and connect with their client base as well as adjust accordingly to demands and critiques.

Job Summary

**NOTE: This is an Unpaid Internship Position**

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities

• Ensures final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Works with copywriters and creative director to produce the final design
• Studies design briefs and determine requirements
• Amends designs after feedback
• Uses the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Creates images and layouts by hand or using design software
• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
• Tests graphics across various media
• Prepares rough drafts and presents ideas
• Conceptualizes visuals based on requirements
• Creates visual concepts, using computer software by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends
• Schedules projects and defines budget constraints

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Portfolio of work
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
