We’re looking for a highly-strategic graphic designer with a colorful portfolio (pun intended) and a knack for testing. As ground-floor player on our growing in-house creative team, you’ll have unrivaled ownership of your work: Not only will you meet (and beat) deadlines, you’ll make (and break) the mold that shapes our visual identity—working with our creative director to bring new life to Kikoff’s brand. Got a hunger (or an aptitude) for animation? Amazing—you just shot to the top of the stack! Our creative team (and most of our ad spend) is video-first, so if you’re a traditional graphic designer who’s itching to explore (and master) motion while prioritizing static needs across a diverse set of channels & products, this job is for you.

What you’ll do:

Own design for our in-house creative team by creating high-fidelity assets across paid social, digital, & email marketing campaigns.

As ground-floor player on our growing in-house creative team, your primary mission will be to craft engaging static ad content for paid social media ad campaigns.

Collaborate with video editors & copywriters to explore how to best frame our product(s) visually.

Manage multiple tasks at the same time and support the greater team with your motion graphics expertise.

Conceptualize ways to tackle and optimize video content for paid social, digital, & email campaigns.

Champion & concept innovative new ways to visually communicate Kikoff’s product & value props.

Co-own structure & process for design, motion resources, and relevant assets w/creative director.

What we’re looking for:

3+ years of experience in graphic (digital) design

1+ years of experience in motion (or familiarity with relevant software & the chops to master it)

Knowledge of email marketing design

An ability to work agilely & dynamically across multiple teams & be a vocal champion for our visual identity & design execution

Have a growth mindset when it comes to tools, tech, & tasks. You learn by doing. You validate by testing. You improve by iterating.

An esoteric executioner: A critical thinker who can wrangle the abstract with an objective mindset & translate untested ideas into tangible creative realities

A methodical maverick: You know how to take calculated risks & big swings while keeping efficiency & strategy in mind. You won’t hear “no” here. You’ll hear, “justify it, try it, prove it performs”.

A strong organizational skill set. We won’t always be a startup, but we’ll always move like one—so time management will be key as you tackle anything & everything that comes your way.

Seek newness and always stay up to date on the l.atest design trends and tech.

A can-do, easygoing, team player attitude with great communication skills.

Bonuses:

Ability to produce motion graphic assets and/or animate pre-existing static assets

Experience in production, VFX, post-production, and/or video creative process

Ability to create editable .mogrt templates for video editors

Ad agency experience or relevant startup experience

The compensation for this role $70k - $100k
