Graphic Designer Position Summary


Trumark Companies is seeking a highly motivated and creative Graphic Designer for one of the leading home-building brands, Trumark Homes. In this role, as part of the in-house Brand Marketing team, you will collaborate, concept big ideas, and execute projects ranging from brand development, advertising campaigns, print, video, presentation, digital design, and more. We are passionate about providing a best-in-class customer experience, and you will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal.


The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker; a proven project manager; a clear, compelling communicator; and a great relationship builder. This role will report to the Corporate Vice President of Marketing.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO ACCOMPLISH SALES AND MARKETING OBJECTIVES:


  • Complete all other duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Create a range of concepts and designs for each project, partnering with copywriters and video production to ensure the copy direction and visual presentation work together to make the concept powerful and compelling.
  • Create and inspire work that meets strategic marketing objectives and clear point of view that aligns to the Trumark Companies brands.
  • Adhere to and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Trumark Companies.
  • Ensures the brand tone and position is exemplified within designs.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.
  • Support the VCP of Marketing with the development of concepts, strategies, and creative briefs/presentations.
  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
  • Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas.
  • Ensure creative product adheres to best practices across media and platforms.
  • Build and foster relationships with marketing sub-teams and other departments.
  • Maintains compliance with fair housing, payment disclaimers, and brand standards for Trumark Homes/Companies.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and help update guidelines when necessary.

Position Requirements


  • Working knowledge of BeePro, Unbounce, Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of HTML, video editing, and animation is a bonus.
  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Strong organization skills and highly detail oriented.
  • 4+ years of agency or in-house creative experience.
  • Strong portfolio that showcases your creativity and skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
