Graphic Designer Product Creation

Position Summary

TaylorMade Golf is looking for a self-motivated and team oriented Graphic Designer who is looking to work in a challenging, ever-evolving and fast paced environment. In this role you will help conceptualize and create unique products for the best golf brand in the world.

In this creative role you will participate in producing detailed product layouts that support the various creative briefs. A strong knowledge of design (with an emphasis in illustration), along with the ability to suggest and communicate effectively. You will work to explore design innovations, while following yearly color and forecast trends.

Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities

• Design product graphics across all product categories: hard goods, soft goods and accessories.
• Understanding of material and fabric execution for soft good is a plus.
• Create graphic concepts for ball packaging.
• Willing to complete other design related responsibilities as assigned.
• Develop concepts for golf ball visual projects.
• Work with the hard goods and accessories team to produce production ready tech packs.
• Utilize processes for Product Graphic Design, including file setup and timeline management.
• Ideate and research creative concepts for numerous Ecommerce accessories projects.
• Design and create unique logos and branding guidelines.

Knowledge And Skills Requirements

• Balanced attitude and work ethic to help support team cohesion and group work dynamics.
• Passion and knowledge of the sport of golf preferred, but not required.
• Understanding of material execution including fabrics, and textures.
• Strong technical skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat with ability to enhance and grow in all industry standard design software applications.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and able to meet all deadlines without fail.
• Ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced, multi-tasking global working environment.
• Good sense of color, visual layout and typography.
• Collaborative designer, receptive to constructive feedback to hone skills and improve brand design.
• Ability to produce detailed tech packs for all categories.
• Reliable communicator with peers and co-workers, and Design/Marketing management. Ability to present concepts and ideas to peers in a team setting.
• Knowledge of Keyshot rendering program a plus.
• Strong illustrative skills, able to concept compelling graphics.

Education, Work Experience, And Professional Certifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Graphic Design or Design related field
• Experience with Apple products and OS
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or similar field

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Ability to work extended hours as necessary
• Light physical effort equal to lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
• Primarily office environment, consistent computer use
• Great work/life balance and team atmosphere

TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $70K – $75K. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
