About The Role

The Vice President of Network Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, overseeing and optimizing Veho’s supply chain network. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and sustainability of Veho’s supply chain.

The successful candidate will be an excellent cross-functional collaborator with strong influencing skills, a thought leader in supply chain with functional peaks in logistics, transportation, network strategy and pricing, and is a proven leader with the ability to empower and develop strong teams.

What You'll Do

• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and performance of the supply chain network. Monitor and analyze network performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas requiring improvement. Develop and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Strategic Network Design and Optimization: Develop and implement the strategic vision for expanding Veho's supply chain network quickly. Consider important factors such as sort hubs, final-mile warehouses, transportation routes, and real estate. Identify opportunities to improve the network for better efficiency, lower costs, and improved service levels.
• Capacity Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, logistics, and demand planning, to forecast and analyze capacity requirements across the supply chain. Develop capacity planning strategies and models to support business growth and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of supply chain professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team while leading the voice of the customer.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated success in consistently meeting/exceeding targets, while building a strong network of partners, including knowing when to upgrade poor performing partners.
• Experience or familiarity with small and medium-sized e-commerce business models.
• Extensive leadership experience in a high-growth environment, preferably with exposure to highly complex operational set-ups and technical platforms.
• Ability to understand objectives of various stakeholders (both internally and externally) to achieve the most optimal partnership for the business.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations research, or a related field is preferred.
• Mature, inspirational, credible and honest communicator with exceptional presentation skills -- ability to establish credibility quickly and manage senior relationships.
• Proven success developing & managing partners while negotiating contracts to grow and support a business.
• Minimum 7+ years of network design experience in e-commerce, including on the supplier side, transportation, P&L ownership, and 3PL relationship management experience.
• Maintains a curious mindset about other functions of the organization to drive further alignment.
• Demonstrates the ability to clearly articulate and communicate our products and competitive advantage to supply side partners.
• Highly proficient at analyzing and translating data-based findings into clear, relevant and actionable insights and business plans.

$225,000 - $275,000 a year

The base salary range for this position is $225,000-$275,000 and will be dependent upon a number of factors such as education, work experience, skills, location and performance in the role. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as a 401k and unlimited PTO.
