Profile
The Vice President of Insights, Data and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction by leveraging data-driven insights and market research to inform decision-making across the organization. The VP of Consumer Insights and Analytics will lead a team of skilled professionals, ensuring the development and execution of comprehensive consumer research and analytics strategies that drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive consumer research roadmap, ensuring it addresses key business questions and supports critical decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with senior executives to define the consumer insights and analytics vision, goals, and strategies that align with the company's objectives.
Consumer Insights and Market Research
- Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative research studies, including surveys, focus groups, customer interviews, and ethnographic studies, to gain deep insights into consumer behavior, preferences, and trends.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to interpret data, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights that inform marketing strategies, product development, and customer experience enhancement initiatives.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging market research techniques, tools, and industry best practices, implementing innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of consumer insights initiatives.
- Lead efforts to monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats, providing recommendations for business strategy adjustments.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Sales, and Operations, to ensure consumer insights are effectively integrated into business strategies and decision-making processes.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of consumer insights and analytics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Present research findings and insights to key stakeholders, including executive leadership and board members, effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing guidance and strategic recommendations based on consumer insights and market research findings.

Additional Information | Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Statistics) is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of developing and executing consumer research and analytics strategies that drive business growth and impact decision-making.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer goods industry and market dynamics.
- Strong expertise in a wide range of research methodologies and statistical analysis techniques, as well as experience with data visualization tools and software.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey research findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a proven ability to inspire, develop, and mentor high-performing teams.
Salary Range: 225,000-280,000
