Responsibilites

Provides Level 4 product support leadership for Ascension Technologies applications and platforms in the Care Communications Portfolio. This role is desired to have high level awareness, experience with nurse systems within the healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include:
  • Utilizes critical thinking to decipher workflows to understand adjustments needed to application deployments
  • Daily engagement and leadership with the product team for the support, iteration, build, deployment and upgrade of the product platforms
  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal are required
  • Deep understanding of the connectedness of the product portfolio and its use case within the healthcare setting to include middleware and alarming and alerting workflows
  • Follows all established procedures
  • Understands basic technology infrastructure to assist with any new functionality, break/fix or application replacement
  • Creates clear documentation for education, knowledge share for team and procedure/policy requirements
  • Works independently to understand workflows and applies technical knowledge to assist end users
  • On call availability is a requirement
Desired Work Experience:
  • 3 or more years work experience with the following applications and platforms is strongly preferred: Clinical Communications, Nurse Call, RTLS or Provider Scheduling experience and exposure to working and collaborating with clinical leaders, physicians and medical staff in a hospital environment is also preferred. Clinical experience is highly preferred but not required


Requirements

Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
