The Treasury and Chief Investment Office sits at the very center of the Firm and is responsible for firmwide asset and liability management. As part of Treasury and Chief Investment Office function, the core mandate of the Investment Portfolio team is to aggregate and manage the interest rate risk of the Firm's four main lines of business through an ~$300BN global investment securities portfolio.
Within the Treasury and Chief Investment Office Finance and Business Management organization, Business Management is a key representative and trusted advisor to the Front Office teams. The successful Associate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and relationship skills, the ability to execute Tier 2 business initiatives, maintain internal processes and controls and guide business efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior Business Managers to support the Global Head of Investment Portfolio and the broader Portfolio team
- Align and work with front office and support groups (Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk) to execute business priorities
- Lead key BAU trading initiative approvals and reporting Forums
- Assist in key business governance activities for front office
- Collaborate with other functional groups as it relates to internal audits, compliance testing and external regulatory requests
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to develop and clearly present conclusions
- Self-starter and able to effectively multi-task, taking a methodological approach to tackle problems
- Strong project management mindset, able to manage and prioritize across multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with senior stakeholders
- Business management, COO, or consulting experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PitchPRO and Intelligent Tools
