Position Overview
As a Recruiter for our Talent Acquisition team, you play a critical role in supporting our unique business by bringing in rockstar talent!
Sky Zone is a growing high-volume environment with a commitment to becoming an employer of choice, it is essential that you bring the ability prioritize and deliver results quickly and effectively, while still ensuring a five-star experience throughout the full-lifecycle process for candidates and hiring managers alike.
The ideal candidate has in-house/corporate recruiting experience supporting a multi-unit company for both field and corporate positions. You’ll report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager as part of our People & Culture team and be provided with a company-issued laptop for the duration of your employment. This is a temporary hourly position.
Responsibilities
- Help develop an “employer of choice” employer brand by committing to consistent follow up with hiring managers and candidates throughout the entire recruitment process.
- Be a collaborative team member as we work together to develop company best practices, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), hiring guides, and strategic initiatives related to talent acquisition.
- Assist with the coordination and attendance to any community or internal hiring events and career fairs.
- Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle from Intake Call, to onboarding, to 45 days of hire. This includes sourcing active and passive candidates, screening qualified prospects, coordinating interviews, extending verbal and written offers, and following up with new employees after hire.
- Create and publish job postings for various park and corporate positions to job boards and social media outlets.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and ensure that candidates are assessed according to the appropriate criteria and values of our organization.
- Assist with and complete additional talent acquisition projects as assigned.
- Use sourcing and marketing tools including company database, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc. to source and create qualified candidate pipelines.
Qualifications
- Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities under limited supervision.
- Customer service focused, with excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable supporting both corporate and field-based positions of all levels.
- Experience working with various applicant tracking systems (ATS); Workday preferred but not required.
- Able to perform efficiently within a high pressure, fast paced environment.
- Demonstrates integrity and maturity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Able to effectively partner with and influence all levels of management.
- Previous experience supporting a high-volume multi-unit business (i.e., entertainment, retail, fitness, F&B, etc.) highly preferred.
- 1-3 years of total recruiting experience required; preferably in a mix of both agency and in-house/corporate environments.
- Minimum of 1 year in-house/corporate recruiting experience required as part of an internal Human Resources or Talent Acquisition team.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Familiar with various sourcing tools including Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Physical Requirements
- Job requires employee to effectively perceive speech and express ideas over the phone and via Teams video for majority of the day.
- Job requires employee to sit or stand at desk for extended periods of time.
Compensation: $26.45-$28.84/hour based on qualifications and experience. Full benefits package including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and a 401k.
