Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in the management of globally scaled programs.
• Experience delivering data insights using Dremel or SQL, and working with multiple large datasets.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of a team leading Google’s efforts to manage its network infrastructure data. You will be working with a broad variety of people and teams across Google. In this role, you will contribute to and lead the development of improved tools, methods, and procedures that will enable Google to maintain clear visibility of its network infrastructure as it continues to scale. The role is broad in nature working across many areas of expertise including data management and modeling, business analysis, project management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Develop governing policies on data quality and education partners teams to ensure that Google’s global network infrastructure data is accurate, complete, and accessible.
• Manage operational and tactical data projects and programs. These include assisting other teams with data management and translation, working with contractors on data entry management, developing ETL procedures and workflows.
• Work with other teams to extend Google's existing network infrastructure data tools/applications, methods, standards, and processes in support of business efficiency and automation programs.
• Use data managed by the larger team to conduct geo analysis using tools like ArcGIS.
• Design and implement build processes that increase operational effectiveness, and identify and drive their automation.
