Technical Program Manager-Mixed Reality

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in interfacing with clients, driving program/project schedules, and ensuring successful delivery of next-generation HoloLens and mixed reality products. Your expertise in managing technical and business issues, supplier management, and cross-functional activities will contribute to our continued innovation and leadership in this space.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the next generation of HoloLens and mixed reality products, contributing to Microsoft's pioneering efforts and continued innovation in this space. You will play a vital role in driving technical program management, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Unit Managers, offering technical and analytical information to support product development.
• Create and review functional specifications, providing critical insights for decision-making on product/service implementation.
• Interface with clients on technical and business issues throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery.
• Drive program/project schedules and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Organize and lead cross-functional activities to ensure program/project completion within schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in BOM (bill of materials) management and supplier management.
• Proficiency in budget management and overseas purchase order management.
• 5+ years of experience in Program Management, preferably in a fast-paced tech industry environment.
• Technical experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in injection molding and sheet metal.
• Six Sigma training or experience in process improvement.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage supplier calls in Asia during evening hours.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience managing suppliers on a technical level.

Required Degree:

• Mechanical Engineering degree (any level)
