Supervisor - Operations Support

Starting salary is $60,873.00. Rate of pay depends on qualifications.

JOB SUMMARY

• Ensures resources/materials are readily available for efficient maintenance operations by coordinating and scheduling service contracts and related services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supervises and ensures the accurate and timely processing of time and attendance data for Distribution & Collection maintenance personnel; tracks vacancies and filled positions and oversees uniform contract.
• Forecasts, allocates and monitors the financial resources for Distribution & Collection (including Support Services); this includes the annual budget process and monthly budget variance report analysis.
• Provides effective coordination and administration of COSA Row Permit process.
• Supervises, selects, develops, trains and evaluates personnel; initiates corrective action as necessary.
• Researches, analyzes, and manages budget expenses for material contracts to include ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all Service Center purchases.
• Recommends, develops, implements, and updates departmental practices and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and public relations.
• Develops, generates, and maintains customized and periodic reports used to evaluate business process measures, work requirements, and budgeting resources and briefs management on findings.

• This position has twelve direct reports.

• Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration or related field from an institution accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
• Five years' operational support and/or administrative experience (in an operations environment), including three years' experience supervising personnel.
• Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, computerized maintenance management system and financial software.

• Contact with internal and external customers, contractors and governmental agencies.
• Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing.
