Job Description

As an Operations Support Associate, you will coordinate all administrative processes relating to the inbound and outbound movement of product and services.

  • Obtain spot quotes from carriers.
  • Maintain accurate paper and electronic records
  • Prepare and distribute pick tickets and shipment documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Manage inbound/outbound communications with carriers, vendors, CS, and sales reps.
  • Coordinate pickup of will-call orders with customers.
  • Coordinate all administrative processes relating to the inbound and outbound movement of product and services.
  • Follow up with freight carriers and service providers on status as needed.
  • Prepare BOL's for shipment transport
  • Receive and process P/O's
  • Respond to requests for information and/or status updates from CS and/or sales reps.


Required


  • Strong computer and spreadsheet skills
  • Minimum of 1yr administrative and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks of varying priority
  • High School Graduate or GED Equivalent


Preferred


  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience in a shipping or warehouse operation
