What You Will Do

The Operations Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operation of Ride Operations, with secondary oversight of Admissions, Guest Relations, and Park Services. This position is responsible for providing direct supervision to these areas including developing and administering department policies, procedures, and budgets while ensuring that all Safety and Guest First Standards are achieved.

How You Will Do It

• Ensure compliance with Department of Labor laws and guidelines.
• Ensure that all expenditures are tracked and maintained within established budgetary guidelines including the preparation of monthly forecasts.
• Responsible for impacting overall guest satisfaction by advocating guest service programs and initiatives.
• Ensure that all Team Members within assigned department are properly trained and equipped to perform their job responsibilities.
• Oversee all functions related to the safe and effective operation of the park and assigned areas to include ensuring that all appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all aspects of the Corporate Safety policies.
• Ensure all ride areas and units are cleaned and guest ready for every operating day.
• Enforce all park policies and procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of all staff.
• 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures as developed through park specific policies and SFTP corporate policy.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Division to minimize downtime and maximize safety and throughput of all rides and attractions.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Cover Park Duty Manager shifts as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation, as well as through established systems.
• Three years' experience in Theme Park Operations or leading large groups, preferred.
• Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
• Strong motivational, leadership and team building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• College degree preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Clear demonstration of “Total Safety” principles and applications.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
• Experience preparing and forecasting budgets.
• Leadership ability with a team-oriented approach.
• Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator.

Other Functions

• Reports to the Director of Operations.
• All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
