Summary: MDi is looking for a results-driven person to join our sales team as a full-time Outside Sales Representative.
We are a B2B distribution company that provides Single Source Facility Solutions by supplying; Janitorial Supplies, Industrial Packaging Products, Office Supplies & Furniture, Breakroom Supplies and Safety Supplies, to small, medium, and large sized businesses including manufacturers, schools, City/County Government, healthcare, hospitality, churches/non-for profits, and others. Our product offering and systems and programs offer value and savings to any facility for maintenance and cleaning.

Our management team and product specialist are committed to your success with “Team Selling”. We will offer continuous training to you as our new hire sales representative. This includes assistance with product knowledge, sales calls, proposals, and initial customer meetings to ensure your success.
Entry Level Sales: MDi will help with on-the-job training for an entry level position with the goal of building a strong customer base over a 2-to-3-year period.The compensation is salary plus commission and offering unlimited potential.
Experienced Sales Position: In addition, we are looking to hire a seasoned salesperson looking for a long-term carrier in a stable and growing environment with a strong family-owned company. We offer the top product lines in the industry with strong inside sales support. We are offering a compensation plan based on a candidate’s experience.
MDi is a part of a national organization of independent facility maintenance distributors which allows us to provide national purchasing programs, supply chain logistics and marketing programs with the lowest total cost solutions to our customers.
Duties;
Introduce our products and services to customers and prospects
Actively seek out and engage new business opportunities
Present, promote and sell products and solutions to existing and prospective customers
Develop new customers through prospecting
Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
Provide systems and solution training for your assigned customers
Commitment to professional self-improvement and staying "on top of" product innovations and industry trends
Attend company meetings
Complete required sales results and activity reporting
Collaborate with internal team members to serve our customers
Requirements:
Candidate must live in the Dallas Ft. Worth Market
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other sales software preferable
Ability to create and deliver presentations
High energy and positive attitude
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Minimum of one-year sales or marketing experience
High school graduate or equivalent
Must have valid driver license and reliable vehicle to visit customers and prospects places of business
Maintain a professional appearance that is client appropriate
Nice to Haves:
B2B sales experience
Previous experience in Retail Packaging, Facility Supply, or Office Supplies sales.
