Sales Representative (D/Fw)

Overview

Our Packaging division is looking for a sales representative to drive growth within our Dallas Fort Worth operations. This vital member of our team will be responsible for selling our services to businesses, organizations, and other commercial clients within Group O's footprint. This role involves traveling to meet with clients and developing relationships with key decision-makers to identify their needs and recommend solutions.

This individual will be located in the greater Dallas / Ft. Worth area.

Responsibilities

• Presenting quotes and proposals
• Participating in order management
• Monitoring order fulfillment
• Monitoring invoicing
• Receiving orders and relaying them to operations
• Developing new and existing customer sales for secondary and tertiary packaging
• Building relationships
• Finding and supporting opportunities for improved performance, cost-savings and efficiency
• Gathering and communicating requirements and specifications
• Participating in pricing
• Matching products and services with needs
• Identifying needs
• Participating in customer requests for quotes and proposals
• Monitoring and reporting on customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Skills

• Valid drivers license
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time
• Ability to travel (overnight)
• Flexibility in daily hours worked based on workloads

Desired Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in sales, account management or customer support
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, suppliers and peers
• Basic user abilities in Microsoft Office Suite
• 5+ years of sales experience
• Knowledgeable of CRM software
• Knowledge of services and products
• Problem solving ability
• Preferred packaging distribution sales experience
