The ideal candidate will be an experienced salesperson within 3PL who is comfortable generating sales leads with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. This candidate will be able to understand a prospective client's needs and offer an ideal solution and will have strong communication skills and a positive track record of exceeding sales goals. We are always solving and helping our customers succeed. You will possess strong sales, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget resources in order to meet your assigned quotas for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize a proven Sales Methodology to prospect, plan, qualify, develop, prove, and close opportunities
• Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts, demonstrating an understanding of customers' business needs
• Drive revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty
• Pursue long-term account strategies that maximize profits and customer retention
• Build strong working relationships with executives at all levels
• Deliver presentations that articulate the value proposition of product/solution/service offerings
• Provide management with suggestions for improving volume, market share, and price levels
• Maintain an accurate sales forecast using Salesforce.com
• Travel to meet with customers/prospects
• Negotiate the terms of an agreement with management and close sales
• Work closely with partners, building and developing a partner strategy
• Conduct market research to understand competitor strengths
• Leverage proven sales experience in the retail sector, ideally with warehousing/distribution/supply chain experience
• Sell SaaS solutions and hardware
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of proven sales experience in the 3PL sector, with a warehousing/distribution/supply chain background
• Possess both "hunting" and "farming" sales skills and an acute sense of urgency
• Strong ability to create and execute complex sales strategies
• Experience in global projects and multinational customer handling
• Experience selling robotics and warehouse solutions is required, and experience with hardware products is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and organizational agility
