We are seeking a Sr. Recruiter – Campus Relations, Talent Acquisition based in one of our key U.S. offices {NY, NJ, MA or GA}.
The Sr. Recruiter – Campus Relations, Talent Acquisition U.S. will build effective early in career plans and evaluates junior candidates to build a strong employer brand across educational communities as well as hire talent and high-potential graduates. The Senior Recruiter is the subject matter expert around candidate sourcing methodologies, educational institutional relations, recruitment process effectiveness, and the efficient use of applicant tracking systems. The Senior Recruiter will have a keen focus on ensuring a diverse pipeline of talent is built across all early in career programs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on multiple early in career positions across different business units in a high growth, high energy, dynamic environment. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will bring an innovative, creative, proactive, and growth mindset, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Understanding unique opportunities for engagement at educational institutions and how most effectively we can assess talent and enhance recruiting strategies; research campus activities/clubs
- Market Sompo International’s talent brand to attract top talent and advise hiring managers on talent acquisition best practices.
- Actively participate in internship program planning and execution.
- Leverage recruiting knowledge, recruitment results and competitive market intelligence to drive strategies and influence key internal stakeholders on recruitment activities and programs.
- Building and leading sustainable relationships with students, faculty and administrators, and business leaders across multiple educational institutions, colleges, and/or universities.
- Managing all on campus activities, event planning and execution that facilitate the candidate selection and interviewing process and deploy identified talent to various offices.
- Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top diverse talent and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Actively ensure the quality and effectiveness of acquisition activities, recommend and implement process improvements as needed, and actively participate on key projects, as assigned.
- Partner with campus recruiting, inclusion & diversity leadership, and internal business leaders to further develop and execute on sourcing opportunities; share best practices and business cases for new and innovative approaches/programs; execute and participate in those programs.
- Leverage recruiting, compensation and market data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
- Drive the recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and advising in the selection of final candidates.
The Experience You Have:
- Proven use of innovative techniques to meet the staffing needs of the business.
- Frequent travel throughout the region, with heightened travel requirements during peak recruiting seasons (January-April; August-November) is required for this position
- Knowledge of, and experience with, a web-based applicant tracking system; Workday HCM and Recruiting module preferred
- Experience developing and executing internal, external and diversity sourcing strategies.
- Proven track record of sourcing diverse talent with subject matter expertise in competitive markets.
- Must have a desire and ability to stay abreast of market conditions and use data to inform decisions.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience preferred as a Campus or Corporate Recruiter, or College/University Outplacement Recruiter or Career Placement Advisor

Salary Range: $90,000– $120,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
