- Conduct internal investigations involving policy violations, harassment and other conflicts. Make recommendations to business leaders as a result of the investigations.
- Coaching on and managing performance improvement plans. Review required documentation.
- Partner with managers and supervisors on progressive discipline corrective actions, by reviewing documentation and ensuring discipline is being issued according to policy and fair standards.
- Analyze trends in employee relations cases, investigations and LOA/accommodation data. Prepare and communicate data summary to HRBPs by business unit on regular cadence.
- Partner with Talent Management, HRBPs and management stakeholders on company-wide trainings to mitigate future ER issues based on completed investigations and cases.
- Maintain Employee Relations and Investigation system of record, HR Acuity.
- Track and review LOA and ADAs, complete any necessary follow up with management and employees with respect to leave status and updates, work restrictions, and required forms. Manage complex, high-risk or sensitive employee relations cases. Partner with our leave management vendor.
- Provide guidance and coaching to HR Business Partners to address performance or behavioral concerns.
- Compile and present investigation summary to managers, stakeholders and legal counsel.
- Partner across functions on special projects as needed.
- HR Process Improvement - Further develop and leverage common practices and processes to ensure fair and consistent treatment/ approach across the Company.
- Provide case management of Employee Relations issues.
- Experience in providing direction and recommendations to HR Business Partners and management to address performance or behavioral concerns.
- Working and practical knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, data management and employment laws.
- Experience dealing with complex investigation situations and partnering with Legal counsel.
- Applied knowledge of ADA, LOA and other leave complexities, supporting both exempt and non-exempt employee populations.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years' work experience in HR Employee Relations
- An enthusiastic team player with an intense drive to create a positive work environment.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM –SCP preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence through results.
