In partnership with public safety, RapidSOS has created the world’s first intelligent safety platform that securely links life-saving data from 500M+ connected devices directly to 911 and first responders in an emergency. Through the platform, we’re providing intelligent data that supports over 5,300 Emergency Communications Centers, protecting 95%+ of people in the US, across 165+ million emergencies annually.
What this role is about:
As the Senior Director, Public Sector Operations, you will collaborate cross-functionally to drive and support the development and execution of key strategic initiatives that fuel RapidSOS’s growth. You will report to the President, Public Sector and will play a role in leading the day-to-day operations of the Public Sector Group (PSG). You'll excel in this role if you are solutions-oriented, are able to manage multiple client relationships and projects at a given time, are self-motivated and organized, and thrive working in collaborative environments.
What you’ll do:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations
• Drive growth through business and partnership development efforts, building strong relationships with partners and customers, and identifying opportunities
• Partner with the President, Public Sector to lead the establishment and execution of the Public Sector Group’s (PSG) strategy, priorities, and goals along with day-to-day operations
• Improve operational excellence within the PSG org and create efficiency by removing obstacles, enabling the organization to achieve results
• Manage key accounts and maintain customer satisfaction through understanding their current and future needs and acting as a trusted advisor
• Provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in PSG programs, initiatives, and operational projects that drive growth and optimize sales results

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

• 7+ years of experience in a strategic or operations role, or experience supporting executive teams
• Ability to travel 20% to meet with key partners, attend conferences and events, etc.
• Adaptable, curious, and ready to embrace change in dynamic environments
• A self-starter who is results-oriented, motivated by continuously solving hard problems
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and toggling between strategic and detail modes seamlessly
• Experience leading, influencing, and driving results with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
• Knowledge of public safety is a plus!
• Client-facing experience in a business-to-government (B2G) environment or in the public sector; ideally has experience with business development and account management
• Highly strategic mindset and ability to dive into complex problems and identify viable solutions

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options and bonus.
