Job Description

Job Summary

The IS Sr Vice President of Commercial Team, will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and management of the company's sales, e-commerce, web portal, and retail technology solutions. He/She will oversee a team of IS professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize sales operations, enhance the online commerce experience, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across various retail channels. This role requires a deep understanding of sales processes, e-commerce strategies, web portal development, and retail technology solutions

· Develop and execute the overall IS strategy for sales, e-commerce, web portal, and retail, aligned with the company's business goals and objectives. Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the IS team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with senior executives and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements in sales, e-commerce, web portal, and retail operations. Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to sales, e-commerce, web portal, and retail.

· Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of sales and retail systems, such as customer relationship management (CRM), point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and order management systems. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to define and document business requirements for sales and retail systems, ensuring they support efficient operations and provide actionable insights. Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to sales and retail systems, ensuring effective delivery of services, support, and system updates. Ensure data integrity and security within sales and retail systems, implementing best practices for data protection and compliance. .

· Stay informed about emerging retail technology solutions, such as mobile point-of-sale (mPOS), Machine Learning and AI, Computer vision, Virtual Reality (VR) , Space Optimization Solutions, Planogram Solution, self-checkout systems, Smart Carts, inventory management tools, Beacons and RFID tracking systems. Collaborate with retail operations teams to identify opportunities for implementing and optimizing retail technology solutions to streamline operations, improve inventory accuracy, and enhance customer experiences. Evaluate and select appropriate retail technology vendors, managing relationships and contracts to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support. Lead the development, enhancement, and management of the company's e-commerce platforms and web portals, providing seamless user experiences and driving online sales growth.

· Build and lead a high-performing IS team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members, regularly assessing their performance and providing constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.

· Develop and implement data analytics and business intelligence strategies to provide actionable insights for IS sales and commerce teams. Define key metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and order to cash processes. Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making within the sales organization.

· Offer front-line technical support to users experiencing issues with the O2C applications and systems. Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues within the O2C process. Process Improvement: Work with the O2C team to optimize and streamline the O2C process through IS solutions. Provide training and documentation to users on O2C systems and best practices. Assist in integrating the O2C system with other enterprise systems like TMS, WMS, etc. Log, track and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
