Senior Manager Of Communications

Mane is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager of Communications to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Manager of Communications, you will play a critical role in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies to elevate the Mane brand and drive business growth. You will oversee all public relations initiatives and brand communications activities, ensuring consistent messaging across various channels. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing and eCommerce, you will be an integral part of the marketing leadership team.

Your Role:

• New product launches: Build global communication strategies for all new product launches including media outreach, media gifting and content opportunities, launch events, etc.
• Brand messaging and positioning: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain consistent brand messaging and positioning across all communication channels. Ensure that Mane's unique value proposition and brand story are effectively communicated to target audiences.
• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies: Create and execute communication plans that align with Mane's brand objectives and business goals. This includes overseeing all brand communications activities across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
• Manage content creation: Partner with the integrated marketing team to ensure that content reflects the brand's overall tone, voice, and values, while driving audience engagement and loyalty.
• Crisis and issues management: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage any potential brand crises or issues. Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries during crisis situations, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
• Influencer partnership: Work closely with internal influencer teams to ensure growth of program and community, including building long-term relationships for the Mane creator community.
• Performance analysis and reporting: Monitor and analyze communication activities and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to the SVP of Marketing and eCommerce. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and tactics, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact
• Experiential marketing: Lead experiential consumer marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and consumer engagement.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, eCommerce, product development, and integrated marketing, to ensure alignment and integration of communication strategies. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for brand partnerships and collaboration.
• Manage public relations efforts: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and industry stakeholders. Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other relevant materials to secure positive media coverage. Proactively identify media opportunities and manage media inquiries effectively.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of public relations, brand communications, and marketing principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
• Proven experience in a senior communications role, preferably within the beauty or lifestyle industry.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful communication strategies.
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Passion for beauty, haircare, and lifestyle trends.
• Experience in crisis communication and issues management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
