Job Description
The role of the Communications team is to establish the overarching messaging and communications strategy for the brand, and to get people to talk about Red Bull through media coverage, influencer engagement, and partner content amplification. You will manage a team that develops media relationships, helps to bring social influencers into the Red Bull world, and works with external partners to share our messages. Reporting to the Director, Marketing – Southwest, you will create all Culture, Sports and Brand Communications efforts for the region with the goal of increasing awareness and affinity for Red Bull and its events, artists, athletes, products and media projects. You will drive the annual Communications plan, and oversee implementation of regional and national Communications efforts on time, on budget, and on target.

Communications Planning


Provide annual Business Planning inputs to support the development of Communications, Influencer, and Media strategies for important audiences in the Southwest and beyond Envision 'breakthrough' buzz-worthy PR moments and activations to promote coverage of Red Bull essential messaging. Work with the other members of the regional team and national departments to build comprehensive campaigns around regional, national, and international media products. Lead all communications surrounding local Marketing activities.


Campaign Execution


Define each project's goals, goals, messages, and tactics and identify the appropriate tools and amplification channels for each campaign. Manage dedicated Communications and Media budget to reflect priorities and deliver expected outcomes. Build relationships with journalists, social editors, rising media outlets, and social opinion leaders. Maintain a comprehensive calendar of Red Bull national and regional initiatives to develop audiences year-round. further Expand communications footprint in important markets, extending Red Bull’s reach and influence through new relationships and partners that speak to the social zeitgeist. Collaborate with important Region and National partners -- including production, social opinion leaders, sports/culture marketing, and event marketing -- to achieve campaign goals. Oversee accurate representation of the Red Bull brand in all activations. Be the important liaison between the Communications team and external regional Agency partners. Measure outcomes using analytic tools and report results to all contributors. Review estimates for campaign services and manage budgets.


Thought Leadership


Lead a team responsible for the development and distribution of strategic PR communications and campaigns that influence and engage our main audiences Create scalable communications templates, which other teams can use for the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of local or endemic initiatives. Be aware of the latest audience trends, communication platforms, and products. Give feedback on campaigns that delight our consumers and enhance Red Bull’s reputation for creativity and inspiration.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise


that matter most for this role:


  • Creative thinker and innovator; in touch with digital, culture, trends.
  • 7+ years of PR / Communications experience marketing high profile brands or agency account management.
  • Experience in and established relationships with Hispanic/Latinx media outlets and editors (both regional and national)
  • Collaborate autonomously while taking direction from Regional and National leadership
  • Experience managing social opinion leaders and social channels.
  • Able to travel; work flexible hours/days of week and weekends.
  • Cultivate a team environment across regions and departments.
  • Plan, prioritization and project management competencies.


The base salary range for this position is $136,895 to $151,305 + cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
