The Internal Communications Associate Manager at Forever 21 plays a crucial role in developing and executing effective internal communication strategies and processes to foster employee engagement, alignment, and a positive company culture. This position is responsible for ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across various channels, promoting two-way communication, and supporting the organization's overall internal communications goals. K ey responsibilities include managing internal communications calendar and developing high-level internal communications material, including presentations, company announcements and newsletters , managing our internal intranet s ite , and facilitating overall communication of important company developments and project updates across all departments . While this role reports to the DE&I Manager, they will be responsible for Forever 21’s communications across all business functions .


Responsibilities


  • Consult with executive management to develop effective communication procedures and policies for various situations or crises .
  • Support internal events and initiatives. Collaborate with various departments to plan and execute events to foster employee engagement and DE&I Initiatives .
  • Coordinate communication channels . Oversee and manage internal communication channels, including intranet platforms, corporate email s, company - wide memos and announcements, Teams c hannel posts and other relevant tools.
  • Monitor and optimize communication channels to ensure effective delivery of internal messages to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners on tailored project communications .
  • Create and deliver internal communications . Produce high-quality, timely , and engaging internal communications materials such as newsletters, email updates, intranet content, presentations, videos and employee branding. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging, reflecting the company's brand and voice.
  • Provide briefings, send recaps regarding policy changes and updates, and convey important decisions by senior management .
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies . Collaborate with HR Managers a nd senior leadership to create comprehensive internal communication plans that align with organizational objectives and priorities. Identify key messaging themes and develop strategies to effectively reach and engage employees.


Qualifications


  • Working knowledge of communications software including Microsoft 365, and Canva is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and across departments
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications , Public Relations, or a related field .
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with heavy attention to detail.
  • 4 + years of experience managing cross-department communications .
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills .
  • In-depth knowledge of best writing and messaging practices for corporate messaging, employee branding , public relations, marketing and social media .
  • Great project management skills, including time management, goal setting, multitasking and prioritization
  • Professional understanding of crisis management .
  • Excelle nt t ime-management abilities especially in quick turnaround scenarios and competing priorities .
  • Self-starter with innovative problem-solving skills .


Additional Data


The salary range for this position is $80,535 - $98,835 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.In addition to your salary, Forever 21, and its affiliated brands, offers a benefits package, including 401(k) plan, overtime pay, flexible work schedule and a generous employee discount program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
