We’re seeking a Senior M a na ger, IT to join our team in Austin, Vancouver, or remotely. In this role , you will report to the Senior Director, Global IT and p lay an integral part of the IT department by investigating digital technologies and making recommendations. You will support the IT roadmap for Planview’s technology usage , manage projects to execute that visio n, maintain Planview’s existing systems and day-to-day operations , and manage direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives to define processes, standards and methodologies for IT such as project management, change management, Incident Management, Asset Management, etc. Continually evaluating performance of IT controls and discipline for all enterprise systems.
• Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner . Oversee end user support and IT operations/infrastructure environments, project delivery and maintenance in a multi-site civil engineering, surveying, and construction management environment.
• Maintain ing adherence to company standard operating procedures and defined support processes .
• Develop multi-year Roadmap to prepare for EOL, lifecycle changes, and architectural improvements across the infrastructure.
• Establish ing efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
• Support IT budget management including review and approval of vendor invoices while ensuring IT does not exceed approved budgets.
• Work ing closely on projects with other teams within Planview to execute deliverables related to technology.
• Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement , as well as identifying and eliminat ing security risks.
• Oversee ing the implementation of IT-related projects.
• Prioritiz ing new and ongoing projects or initiatives that intersect with technology.
• Facilitat ing IT security audits or investigations.
• Maintain ing IT processes across decision support applications and propos ing improvements.
• Creation, administration, and continual improvement of disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis.
• Evaluat ing IT operations and ensuring alignment with established goals.

Qualifications

• Documented experience with infrastructure security concepts; multi-factor authentication, layered network security, DMZs, IPS, zero-trust, encryption, PAM and security frameworks.
• Experience with VMware/V-Center, Citrix, multi-cloud in high compute environments
• Administration of cloud-based systems and platforms, especially Microsoft Azure and AWS .
• Deep technical expertise in networking concepts (SD-WAN, UCaaS ), server infrastructure, client systems, and enterprise architecture. Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Domain Controllers, SCCM, and O365; firewall and switch configuration.
• Demonstrated experience building and improving lean support organizations, aligned to support a maturing business organization undergoing aggressive growth .
• A minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education.
• Experience with enterprise class servers ( Dell ), shared storage systems (NAS/SAN/ vSAN ), virtualized and hyperconverged infrastructures.
• Comprehensive understanding of network architecture, Engineering .
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience and previous experience managing business initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment (switches, firewalls, VPN, IOS, protocols).
• Experience with modern, SaaS-based corporate IT environments.
• Deep knowledge of ITIL (prefer certification) and ITSM principles, as well as Service Delivery Frameworks.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

Specialized Skills and Technologies:

• Industry training such as Microsoft MCSE, MCITP.
• Advanced networking certifications preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SharePoint Server.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)/Prince2/Project+ certification
• Industry certifications such as ITIL v4, Network+, and Security+.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and automation.
• Experience working with VMWare ESX, vSphere, and/or vCenter along with VCP-DCV certification.
• Experience with Data Cabling / Computer Facilities maintenance.
• Experience with VMware Horizon and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure along with relevant certification.
